What are your office hours? Is there after-hours support?
Our staff is in the office from 6am PST to 6:30pm PST but we are available 24 hours.
What is your service area?
We are nationwide and also offer Remote-online (RON) signings for signers outside of the United States.
What types of ID’s are acceptable for a notary signing?
Valid State issued driver license, US passport (or passport card), An inmate ID card issued by Department of corrections, Canadian or Mexican driver’s license, US military ID, Valid foreign passport, ID card issued by a federally-recognized tribal government, oath or affirmation of one or two credible witnesses. Each state’s laws may vary.
Can notaries provide legal advice?
No. It is important to understand that notaries are prohibited from providing legal advice or acting as legal representatives. Their job is to authenticate signatures and ensure proper legal procedures, but they cannot interpret or draft legal documents nor advise whether you should sign a particular agreement.
What are Remote Online Notarizations (RON)?
Remote online notarizations are becoming more prevalent, especially in the current technology-driven landscape. These notarizations are performed via secure video conferencing.
Can a document be notarized for someone who is not present?
Notaries are not permitted to notarize a document without the document signer being physically present, the exception being remote notarization using audio-video technology. In a RON signing, the document signer will need to be present over video.
Can a document be notarized if it is in a foreign language?
Yes. A document can be notarized in any language, provided that the document is fully completed and there are no blank spaces. However, it is IMPORTANT that the signer be able to communicate with the notary in a language that both parties understand in person.
What documents do I need to prepare for an online notary appointment?

How do I verify my identity for RON?
Most platforms require you to upload a photo ID and may ask you to answer security questions. Some services use biometric verification methods, such as facial recognition, to ensure your identity is securely verified.
